Concert Etiquette:
In an effort to promote respect in each of our performances, it is important for
students and parents to understand acceptable behavior on and off the stage.
- Concert Etiquette Guidelines:
-Be quiet during performances.
-Wait until the end of a performance to clap or cheer.
-Wait until the end of a song or section is finished to leave the
concert hall.
-Do not leave a concert before it is completed.
(Exceptions to this guideline: - -If you have small children that cannot sit with you during the
performance and be a good listener...Please don't bring them
to the performance or please take them home. - -If your child is done performing and needs to go home, go home.
-Stay attentive! (Please don't slouch in your chair, make loud noises, use your
cell phone, or participate in other behaviors that are distracting).
-Respond appropriately after a performance!
All the above guidelines are for the performers as well as the audience. The music students have worked extremely hard and long hours to provide the audiece with a wonderful concert. Please allow them to do their job without distractions.
Thank you from the performers, the director, and the audience.
